Here you can find information about the attachments that may be required for applications for accreditation and validation of competences.
Official transcript of records or a link to your study attainments via My Studyinfo
- You can attach an official transcript of records with a signature and stamp. Nowadays, electronic signatures are mainly used.
- You can also verify your completed studies through My Studyinfo if the course units are visible there. Follow the instructions carefully to create a link to your attainments in My Studyinfo.
Course descriptions
- A course description includes, for example, the content, competence goals, and learning outcomes of the course unit. You may not write a description yourself – refer instead to an official source, such as a university website.
- You can check whether the course is available on the offering institution’s website or in a study plan.
- If needed, you may contact the higher education institution where the course unit was completed to request a course description.
Work certificate
A signed work certificate must state at least:
- the tasks you carried out
- the duration of employment
- the employer’s contact information and signature
A document showing only the number of hours worked is not sufficient.
Note: You cannot upload Word documents as a work certificate via the application form.
Course title in English/name in the original language
- In order to register the course unit, we need the official course title in English. You may not translate it yourself.
- If the English title appears in your transcript of records or in My Studyinfo, you may upload that document. If not, try searching for the course on the institution’s website and see if the English title is available (for instance, by switching the language to English on the page).
- If the English title is not available in the transcript or online, contact the higher education institution in question.
Conversion of credits
- If your completed studies are not expressed in ECTS on the transcript of records, you must be able to verify the workload behind the unit used. As a general rule, one ECTS credit corresponds to 27 hours of work.
- The workload per credit unit should appear in the transcript or other official documents issued by the institution.
- The study counsellor of your degree programme can help you with questions about converting credits.
