Kompetensmål

One aim of the course is that the student is
familiar with the concept of risk in a general
business context and how risks are identified,
assessed and managed. The other aim of the
course is that the student understands the
concepts of economic, social and environmental
sustainability, and what these mean in different
business contexts (?CSR?).

Läranderesultat

The student is able to make structured risk
analyses for different business situations. The
analyses include systematic identification of
risks, assessing risk probability and consequence
as well common methods for risk elimination,
reduction or mitigation.

The student is able to assess the sustainability
of different business models in accordance with
internationally established sustainability
programs and best practices. The student is able
to prepare simplified corporate sustainability
reports for common business cases.

Examinationskrav

To pass the course the student must obtain a
minimum of 50 points of 100. Points are obtained
through participation (maximum 10 points) and
taking of assignments given during the course.
Assignment scores are final and cannot be
improved on, but in case the entire course is
failed the student will be given an opportunity
to redo some assignments in order to pass.
Failure to submit through itslearning by the
deadline will reduce each assignment points by a
maximum of 20%.

There is no written exam in the course.
