Kompetensmål

The student increases knowledge and awareness about
different forms of rehabilitation and the legislation which
guides rehabilitation in Finland.
Student increases his knowledge about rehabilitation in
society. He understands the purpose and meaning of
rehabilitation from an individual perspective and he is aware
of the importance of appropriate goal setting in rehabilitation.

After the course student has knowledge about different actors
involved in rehabilitation. Student has also knowledge about
how to create goals in rehabilitation. He will also know what
project work includes and he has knowledge about the
process linked with project work.

Läranderesultat

After the course the student has
- knowledge about the role and responsibility of the
community and NGO organizations regarding rehabilitation.
- has deeper knowledge about different rehabilitation forms as
a base for practical work.
- understands the individual persons experiences regarding
rehabilitation and disability.
- basic knowledge about goal assessment scale.
-can clarify his own professional role in the rehabilitation
process and can use his professional knowledge in multi-
professional work.
- is able to participate in multi-professional project work.
- basic skills to use research to support rehabilitation
planning.
-basic skills to implement a small project based on the needs
in working life

The examination is that students plan, conduct and report a project.
Student have to be presence at compulsory parts of the course.
Approved presentation of project report.
Approved written project report
The student has handed in the 2 group work: 1) rehabilitation of the elderly 2) presentation of 1 NGO
