The main objective of the physics studies is to
establish a fi rm foundation of knowledge applied
physics. Students are presented with the theoret-ical
development of physical science in order to
gain an understanding of its history, and continue
by looking at the major milestones that have had
large consequences on technological develop-ment.
Students should grasp essential physical
principles and research methods to improve their
technical problem solving ability early in their
studies. A clear concept of the scientifi c theory
and procedure will be emphasized throughout
the topic coverage and special care will be taken
to present real life applications of the laws of
physics in the fi eld of engineering.
