Since January 1, 2021, you who are a degree student at a university of applied sciences have access to the Finnish Student Health Services (FSHS). Read more about the change in student health care here.
Due to the fact that Helsinki is still in the community transmission phase, and the general restrictions for the metropolitan area continue to apply, Arcada's instructions to prevent the spread of infection will continue to apply until 31.1. The goal of the restrictions is to avoid further spread of COVID-19 and a total closure of the campus.
From 1 January 2021, the Finnish Student Health Service (FSHS) provides health care services for all students of universities of applied sciences. You now get access to a wider range of health care services than before, including mental health and dental care. By paying the health care fee to Kela, you are entitled to all services within FSHS - in several locations, online and by phone.
Students at Arcada have different options when it comes to going abroad and conducting part of their studies overseas. To study abroad is enriching for you as a student on both a professional and personal level. The experiences gained opens new doors and opportunities.

Multilingual UniTandem studies are available in the spring of 2021: further information and enrolment instructions are available on the UniTandem web pages. (www.unitandem.fi). Enrolment for spring 2021 UniTandem studies is from 11 January to 7 February 2021.
On Thursday 21 January 2021 at 1 p.m., we will arrange the first meet and greet session for you who are a student within health, welfare or healthcare. In total we will arrange three sessions, where you have a chance to meet representatives from our working life partners. The meet and greet sessions are part of My Future Work 2021. My Future Work is Arcada's annual recruiting event where students get to network and meet employers – this year via Zoom. This is an opportunity for you to meet up with a possible future employer and get a summer job or work practice.
