The corona situation in the capital region has worsened - new clarifications in Arcada's instructions 

The spread of infection in the capital region during the second half of November went from the acceleration phase to the spreading phase, and there is a risk that the situation will get worse in the coming weeks. It is therefore more important than ever that each of us at Arcada takes responsibility for reducing the risk of infection. We need to be careful follow Arcada's instructions and recommendations.

Soon it is the season to be jolly… however, the holidays can also be a difficult time for many families that are financially struggling to make ends meet. Especially this year when so many people have lost their jobs due to the pandemic. At Arcada we have for the last three years been challenging student and staff to participate in a collective attempt to make the holiday season a better experience for people in need.

Student healthcare services at FSHS starting 1 January 2021

Student healthcare services for students in higher education starting 1 January 2021

Starting 1 January 2021, the Finnish Student Health Service (FSHS) will provide student healthcare services for all higher education students. A healthcare fee for higher education students is paid to Kela. 

Students who are entitled to use the services of FSHS are students who have registered as attending and who are completing

Notice to Arcada employees and students about possible coronavirus exposure on 6 and 12 November

Dear students and educational institution staff,

A person who visited Arcada University of Applied Sciences on 6 and 12 November 2020 has since been found to be infected with the coronavirus. Not all of the educational institution’s students and staff have been exposed. Individuals who might have been exposed in close contact have been personally notified by authorities. The risk of infection for other people who were present at the educational institution is low.
