Arcada returns to hybrid teaching in February, which means more teaching on campus. Teaching for large student groups continues online.
The board of Arcada has decided on a new organisation as a result of the cooperation negotiations that began on 18.10.2021. The new organisational structure will save resources and create cooperation. All teaching continues as planned and the programmes continue as before.

The autumn application round to Arcada’s studentstipendiefonder is now open.
If you are not able to complete your studies within the maximum period of study you can submit an Application for extended right to study during 4-18.11.2021. A student can for a special reason, be granted the right to extend his/her studies by the Rector. The application for extended right to study has to contain an individual study plan approved by the amanuensis. All the remaining courses and other study attainments have to be included in the study plan. The studies ought to be completed within one and a half calendar years, which means that you can apply for 1 year and 6 months more at the most.
You do not have to fly all the way to Glasgow to participate in the UN Climate negotiations this year. Follow the discussions on spot in Helsinki at the Nordic COP26 Hub 5-12 November.
