Study Abroad Info Sessions
We organize information sessions about the Study Abroad process for everyone who wishes to apply for student exchange. The sessions are obligatory for everyone who wishes to apply to an Arcada Partner University! The info sessions are held in September and in January before the application deadline.
Two identical sessions will be held in January. Choose the one that suits you better:
19.1 at 15.00-16.30 in D4106 and 24.1 at 14.30-16.00 in D4106.
We will also organize two pre-departure trainings where students who have been accepted for exchange get more practical information about the exchange process as well as cultural training.
Date and time of the info sessions will be informed here in Start closer to the deadline.
Are you wondering where you can go on exchange? You can find all our partner institutions in one database.
In the same database you can also find travel reports written by students who have already been on exchange. If you want to go on exchange to a university that is not our partner, you can apply for exchange as a freemover. We have more information about freemovers here.
This is how the application process works

Why study abroad?
"So all in all it was a great trip with many new experiences, new friends and sometimes an emotional rollercoaster between wanting to go home, wanting to stay and just not knowing what you want to do. To be honest if I had the chance I would have stayed another year but I am sure I will be back soon." - Jenny, Vancouver
To study abroad is very enriching both at the academic and personal level. The experiences will open new doors and possibilities. Students at Arcada have the possibility to study abroad at some of our partner universities from 3-12 months through different programmes. Information on where you can go is available under “Where can I go?. Remember to attend our information sessions about studying abroad!

- Have I got the required language skills?
- How do I feel health wise?
- How flexible and independent am I?
- What about my financial situation?
