The Finnish Red Cross and virtual reality glasses at Arcada 14.9

The Finnish Red Cross is introducing the virtual reality glasses at Arcada’s Big Square Wednesday 14.9 at 10-14. The 360-degree video shown through the glasses has been filmed in the Somaliland region of Somalia, which suffers from extreme drought.

WhatsApp course provides information about Finland to international students

New international students arriving at the Helsinki Metropolitan Area this autumn can learn more about their new home country through WhatsApp. The multilingual Infopankki.fi has put together the ‘Your First Finnish Friend’ course, which provides information about life in Finland, the Finnish language, working, studying and leisure activities.

You can subscribe to the service by sending WhatsApp message “Moi!” to number 044 941 9282. The free course lasts from the beginning of September until the end of October.
