Arcada Summer School offers the opportunity to earn credit points during the summer. This year there are several different courses to choose from, such as e.g. Leadership, Banking, Storytelling and eHealth, to name a few. Apart from the traditional in-class teaching, we also offer courses online.

Arcada Sommarskola ger dig möjligheten att studera vid Arcada under sommaren. I år erbjuds tjugo kurser inom bland annat ledarskap, språk, filmmusik & ljuddesign, e-hälsa och bankindustrin och dess roll i samhället. Utöver närstudiekurser erbjuder sommarskolan också online-kurser. Läs mer här.

On Wednesday September 7th at 3 p.m. it is time for the opening of the academic year 2016-2017 at Arcada. We kindly invite you to take part in the ceremony together with students, staff and invited guests.

After the ceremony we will get together for an informal party, with entertainment and refreshments on the agenda. The after party continues at the students own Cor-house.

Starbucks on the go will be available in the Arcada bulding (small square) from Monday August 31st. Take the opportunity to stop by during the opening day on Tuesday September 1st from 9 AM.During the opening all drinks are sold at half price. Coffee experts from Selecta will be there to tell you about Starbucks, the products they offer and also assist if necessary.Arcada is the first university of applied sciences in Finland to recieve their own Starbucks on the go-café. Welcome to stop by and have a cup of Starbucks coffee, tea or hot chocolate.

Starbucks on the go-automaten vid lilla torget i Arcadahuset öppnas måndagen 31.8. Passa även på att komma förbi på invigningen tisdagen 1.9. från kl. 9.00. Under invigningen kan man testa på alla drycker till halva priset. På plats finns även kaffeexperter från Selecta för att berätta om Starbucks och de produkter som erbjuds samt hjälpa till vid behov.Arcada är den första högskolan i landet med ett eget Starbucks Corner Cafe. Välkomna förbi för och smaka på en kopp Starbucks kaffe, te eller kakao.
