Arcada aims to offer as much as possible of the studies on campus this autumn. As long as the pandemic situation allows, the student life will return to normal with both on-site classes and study-related events.

Over the past two years, we have had to get used to remote studying. From the autumn, the aim is to resume activities on campus to the largest extent possible, including teaching, learning activities and events. The community feeling is an important part of the studies and the friendships and networks you build are invaluable.

Arcada offers various forms of study; day studies, flexible studies and online studies. On our day study programmes (most of our bachelor’s degree programmes), students have regular on-campus teaching. Students on our flexible programmes have on-campus studies during specified times and days, but to a lesser extent than the programmes with day studies. Only our online Master's degree programmes do not have on-campus activities. On these programmes, the students get to meet each other and network through regular online meetings and learning activities.

As well as the majority of studies taking place on campus, all services are available to you here, including the library, the student lunch restaurant and our learning environments.

Of course, all our programmes also take advantage of the excellent digital materials and new ways of studying that we have developed during the pandemic. Online teaching will still be offered when appropriate.

We remind everyone to continue to observe precautionary measures and to stay at home if you have cold-like symptoms.
