Our department has mainly large lecture groups and therefore, we are currently planning to offer our lectures online. However, lectures will be held according to the existing timetable and we expect all students to actively participate in them.

The Coronavirus pandemic has complicated our lives in a multitude of ways. It has brought the financial world to its knees, with speculations of an impending global recession. Restaurants and other small business owners are losing their income and the question of "is someone going to be bankrupt?" has shifted towards "how many will be still running after this ends?".
Although the campus is closed, support and services for Arcada's students are offered remotely. The RefWorks team is offering an end user training session on 31.3.2020 at 20-21 (GMT+3). Participants will see how easy it is to use RefWorks for all reference management needs, including remote learning and collaboration. From reference importing to collaborative writing, RefWorks can help users get their assignments completed, wherever they are.
AFORA (Amy for Arcada) is a learning and development project where we, together with students and co-workers, explore possibilities with humanoid robots in different studying contexts. The project is made possible by financial support from the Lindstedt Foundation.
Welcome to join the SPRINTINHEL, https://www.sprintinhel.com/sprint-about/, run by Arcada and Metropolia this spring. You learn Google’s well known methodology, solve a challenging business problem for a client and network with great people from the Nordics and the Baltics. We will sketch, prototype, pitch etc.
Participants from 11 universities in Sweden, Denmark, Iceland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania will join us in Helsinki 19-25.4.
The topic is related to sustainability and urban farming. It is truly interesting.
