Hello there, students of universities of applied sciences, What aspects of the education offered by universities of applied sciences are particularly praiseworthy?What do you think of politics?How should students’ interests be advocated?

This study by the Union of Students in Finnish Universities of Applied Sciences (Samok) explores the societal values and attitudes of students at universities of applied sciences as well as their experiences with housing, student union activities, inappropriate treatment in higher education institutions and the strengths and pull factors of education in universities of applied sciences.

The answers to the survey will be used in student advocacy work and to develop student unions’ activities. The study is conducted by the Research Foundation for Studies and Education Otus. The study has been commissioned by the Union of Students in Finnish Universities of Applied Sciences (Samok). Your participation in the survey is voluntary, and the survey can be filled in anonymously. The answers will be processed confidentially, and individual respondents will not be identifiable from the results. The research data will be processed at Otus by researchers named for the project and only in research purposes. It takes around 10 minutes to complete the survey, and you have until Friday 12th October to do it.
