Are you able to complete your studies and apply for the degree certificate before your study right expires?
If you are not able to complete your studies within the maximum period of study you can submit an Application for extended right to study during the period November 4-18, 2020. A student can for a special reason, be granted the right to extend his/her studies by the Rector. The application for extended right to study has to contain an individual study plan approved by the amanuensis. All the remaining courses and other study attainments have to be included in the study plan. The studies ought to be completed within one and a half calendar years, which means that you can apply for 1 year and 6 months more at the most. The application form is found here. The online application is to be submitted on November 18, 2020 at the latest. Please note that you should receive the approval of your individual study plan before you submit the application (by the amanuensis). Please also note that you should not apply before the indicated application period. Please also note that an extended study right may be granted only once; exceptions can be made only for situations in life that can be proven by medical certificates.
Those students whose right to study expires on December 31st have been informed about the matter in October by e-mail and by regular mail.
If you have any questions regarding your right to study, do not hesitate to contact the Study Coordinators at firstname.lastname@example.org.
