Arcada still recommends the use of face masks on campus. The recommendation applies specifically to indoor spaces where many people are gathered close to each other and in situations where safety distances cannot be maintained.
Are you proud to be an Arcada student? Would you like to share your experiences of studying in Finland with future international students? Then you might be one of our student ambassadors for the academic year 2021–2022!
On Wednesday September 1st at 3 p.m. we will celebrate the opening of the academic year at Arcada. Join us in our virtual event and listen to a celebratory speech by Minister of Education Li Andersson as well as a live performance and greetings. This event also marks the beginning of our 25th jubilee.
Arcada's campus opens on 9.8. Due to the increased spread of infection in society, we recommend visiting the campus only in connection with course activities and for matters that cannot be handled online. We continue to follow the authorities' recommendations and update our guidelines when necessary. We encourage everyone who can to get vaccinated as soon as possible.
In May, all students had the opportunity to participate in our survey about what studying should look like in the future, after we have left the Covid-19 pandemic behind.
The past year has been challenging in many ways. Due to the corona pandemic, Arcada has had to reorganise how programmes are being carried out with many of our activities taking place online instead of on campus. Now, as we can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel, it is our intention to resume activities on campus next autumn to the largest extent possible.
The national UAS entrance exams are arranged at Arcada 31.5–4.6. During the week, we ask you to avoid visiting campus if you are not attending the exams.
In December we reached a 41% response activity but in this survey, we're not there yet. Please, respond to our survey a.s.a.p. and participate in the draw of a 50€ gift card to Wolt!
Arcada Student Union - ASK arranges an election panel on Wednesday 28.4 at 13:00 on Youtube, feel free to follow the stream live or to watch it afterwards!
