The workshop on the 12th of January is cancelled. More information about the workshops during the spring term will be published here shortly.
Are you writing your thesis or struggling with other written assignments? Do you have difficulty finding motivation or feeling stuck in your studies? Are you using too much of your time worrying about grammar, solving technical problems or getting the citations and references right?
Welcome to the support workshop for students online via Zoom! In the support workshop (formerly called Late afternoon at the Library), staff from Arcada's various units are available to help students with their assignments and studies.
The support workshops are arranged online every month via Zoom. You get help with, among other things:
- writing and language
- figures and statistics
- IT problems
- to find articles and information and get help with how to write references correctly
- advice and support in study techniques, motivation, time planning and stress management
- answers to practical details about graduation and the degree project
The Zoom links will be published here before the workshop begins.
You can connect at any time during the two hours the workshop is open and you can contact one or more people / support functions. All Arcada students can participate, regardless of degree programme and year, and you can ask for advice for both small and large problems. No prior registration required.
The rest of the year's service workshops will be arranged on the following dates:
