We remind you to please repeat the students' instructions for autumn 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The authorities have assessed that Arcada’s instructions are adequate and sufficient – but only if they are followed. If everyone (students, staff and guests) really follows them and the new recommendation to wear face masks on campus, we can continue to keep the campus open and our activities running on campus to the current extent. If we do not follow the instructions, the risk increases that we will have to interrupt work on campus.
If you test positive for COVID-19
If you are tested positive for COVID-19 and have visited campus recently you should immediately contact the amanuensis at your department. Your amanuensis will then contact the Rector, who is in contact with authorities.
Updated travel guidelines
As of Monday 5.10, Arcada’s travel instructions follow the national guidelines using the Finnish institute for health and welfare’s so-called Traffic light model.
- We strongly recommend that you do not travel abroad this autumn, with the exception of trips to countries that are green in the traffic light model.
- If you travel to a country that is not green in the traffic light model, you need to self-quarantine for two weeks and not visit campus during that time.
- Arcada’s staff and guests are also following these national guidelines
THL’s traffic light model helps you assess the risk of corona infection when travelling abroad and divides the countries into three categories: in the green countries the risk of infection is not significantly higher than in Finland, while travel is not recommended to countries that are red and grey.
