The scope of the Master's degree programme is 90 ECTS. The degree can be completed in 2 years while studying alongside work. The courses are taught entirely in English. There are Intensive weeks, scheduled learning symposiums and seminars where you will meet your fellow teachers and students in person. The first semester offers a common ground in the foundations of dialogical approaches for mental health, research methods and issues connected to mental health and management, team work and organizations within mental health. During the second semester, students are introduced to peer-supported open dialogue, mental health diagnosis and Quality development and innovations within social and health care Health resources in work-life with focus on mental health.

The studies consist of The Finnish Need-Adapted-Approach and its dimension (7,5 SP); Management, Teams and Organizations in Health and Social Welfare (7,5 SP); Peer-supported Open Dialogue (7,5 SP); Mental health diagnoses and psychiatric treatment and care (7,5 SP); Quality development and innovations within social and health care (5 SP); Health resources in work-life (10 SP); Scientific work and research seminars (5 SP); Philosophy of science, ethics and methods (10 SP) and Master Thesis (30 SP).
