International Business - Academic year 2021/22

Instructions on how to combine courses

When applying for an exchange to study business at Arcada you must choose a module in one of the following main subjects: Financial Management, or Logistics, or Marketing, or Tourism. By choosing courses from the same subject you will not have overlapping timetables. In addition to the main subject, you should choose development studies. Please note that the overlapping timetables only concern subject courses. The development study courses from different modules might overlap occasionally. The same thing applies to development courses and the general course Ethical and Sustainable Societal Development.

If you study for a full year at Arcada you must choose one 30 credit module in Financial Management, or Logistics, or Marketing, or Tourism and one development module (15 credits each, see list offered). In addition to these, you should choose the general course and/or development courses offered. The total amount of credits attained during one academic year should land on 60 cr.

N.B.: There are a limited number of places available per each module, which means that your choice of courses will be confirmed only after you have successfully submitted your application.

E.g. Full Academic Year (60 cr)

Financial Management, 30 cr (main subject)
+
Entrepreneurship, 15 cr (development studies)
+
