Competency aims
The student is able to combine user needs and
existing eHealth services for applying user
oriented service design thinking. Students will
explore different methods and technology for
eHealth service development to achieve
sustainable health promotive and rehabilitative
applications for different user groups and
needs.
The course ends with a essay where students
summarize a digital health service in a
comprehensive way.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student is expected
to:
- be able to combine identified user needs
- be able to test existing solutions in order to
develop or modify digital service design
- be able to discuss the advantages and
disadvantages of the chosen digital service
- be able to thoroughly inspect, assess and
document a user oriented digital service in the
field of health and welfare

During the course you will:
1. Individual work: Write an online book-exam
Max points 21 points. In order
to accomplish this course you need a minimum
of 9 points.
2. Group-work: Each group consists of 4 students
working actively together. The group publish 4
scientific blog text during
course and comment each week on two others
groups texts. These blog texts becomes a
scientific essay to be handed in on
ITS learning. Finally,each student review one
essay with in-dept feedback. Max.
points for all of theses group activities are
39p. These activities gives a max
39 points and in order to accomplish this
course you need a minimum of 15
points.
