Competency aims

The aim of the course is that the student
understands the purchasing process and its
different stages. Further the student will learn
to argue and negotiate in a appropriate way
according to different negotiation situations.

Learning outcomes

At the end of the course the student is expected to
be able to understand the purchasing process and to
understand the relationship between negotiations
and its effect on the purchasing process.

Course contents

The student works with separate purchasing and
negotiation tools and will conduct negotiations for
a real purchasing process.

To pass the course the student should pass the
compulsory elements of the course and receive at
least 50 points of the maximum 100 points in the
course.

purchasing process (max 50 points, minimum 25
points required)
An essay about negotiation skills (max. 50
points, minimum 25 points required)
