The aim is to focus on the definitions, concepts
and frameworks that underpin the study of tourism
keeping in mind the importance of sustainable
development.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student is
expected to be able to understand the unity of
tourism industry. He/she can identify different
types of tourism and understands witch
attractions suits to witch guest segment.
Important is also to observe global trends and
how demand and supply meet each other. The
planning and operations must follow the rules
of sustainable development.

following examinations:
Examination 1 exam 40 p
Examination 2 assignment 30 p
Examination 3 report 20 p
Examination 4 learnings 10p
All course assignments must be passed
All four parts must be passed
(examinations include written examination
tests, demonstrations and presentations,
reports and productions, essays, and also
presence at specified occasions)
The examinations contribute to the final grade
as follows: Max 100, min 50 points for to pass
the course
grading: 50-59=4, 60-69=2, 70-79=3, 80-89=4,
90-100=5
