Course contents
OPTIONAL
Advanced, health promotive or rehabilitative care on
a policlinic, in perioperative care, intensive care
and other units for children, youth and adults in
different somatic or psychiatric units.
Prerequisites and co-requisites
Clinical practice in home -, elderly and open care.
Furthermore in medical-surgical and psychiatric
care.

The work shifts are made according to the
supervisor's and the unit's planning. 38h/week in
three-shift work.
The clinicL practice assignment is done on
itsLearning.
Reporting of hours worked and the evaluation
should be submitted to itsLearning.
Vaccination certificates and investigation of
infectious diseases are followed according to
standard directives and the welfare area's
requirements.
In addition, the vice chancellor's decision 6/2020
on sufficient language skills in Swedish and
Finnish applies when an clinical practice is to be
booked.
Medication calculation exam completed no later
than 2 weeks before the start of the clinical
practice or according to the examiner's
requirements.
