AFTER COMPLETION OF THIS COURSE THE STUDENT IS ABEL TO:

Discuss and illustrate actors as well as the societal and economic connections in nursing profession within the public, private and third sector.

Recognize and report legislation in working life for nurses in Finland.

Use international information sources within nurse management field and is able to apply good study and research praxis about literature reviews.

Comprehend the principles of user-oriented action and leadership.

Interpret the principles of how organizations work and the student has the ability to work in multiprofessional teams.

Explain why it is important to study organisations

Understand the traditional differences in
approaches and perspectives on the study of
organisations.

Define personality, describe the factors that
influence personality differences and explain the
relationship between personality and behavior

Define and understand the nature of organisational
culture and how it affects the behaviour of

and its implications for change in organisations

Written literature review where each student contribute with 1 article (article has to be approved by both teacher and students in the group).
Seminars (mandatory to participate) where group work is presented.
