of the human body and its healthy functioning,
to
understand the
chemical background for the functions of the
human
body, and to
give the skills needed to be able to recognize
illness.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course, the student is
expected
to be able to:
-describe the structure of the human body and
name
the organs
in Swedish and in scientific terms
-understand and describe the functions of the
different
organ systems; the musculoskeletal system, the
circulatory
system, the respiratory system, the digestive
system, the urinary
system, the reproductive system, the endocrine
organs, the
nervous system, and the sense organs.
