Competency aims

The aim of the course is the further development
of speaking, listening, reading and writing
skills (= CEFR A.2.2)
 

Learning outcomes

At the end of the course the student is
expected to be able to
-discuss accomodation and sparetime activities
-discuss the seasons of the year and the
weather
-understand and respond to emails
-give and understand directions, both on the
phone and bu email
-talk about previous employment and write a CV
-discuss sickness and health
-express their opinion on different topics

Course contents

Grammar: the past tenses, the futur tense,
different auxiliary verbs, adjectives,
subordinates clauses.
Vocabulary: Working life, health, accomodation,
travelling.
Nordic traditions will be discussed during the
course.

Obligatory attendance, at least 75%.
