Competency aims

The aim of the course is that students develop
their skills in the field of occupational therapy:

Demonstrating understanding and relevant
interdisciplinary knowledge concerning the
fundamentals of human motor, sensory and
perceptual development.

Students understand how motor, sensor, the basics
of kinesiology and ergonomics affects human
occupational performance

Learning outcomes

Learning results in relation to the development of
competence in occupational therapy:

Is able to describe the human sensomotor
development in relation to motor learning, the
development of senses, perceptual development and
hand functional development

Is able to describe how to facilitate human
movment in activities

Is able to plan and implement preventive ergonomic
solutions and to promote occupational performance

Course contents

Human motor, sensor, perseptual and hand
development. Basic skills for facilitating human
movement and ergonomics
