Competency aims

The aim of the course is:

  • to learn how to identify patients with acute
    illness
  • to be able to provide prehospital care to the
    patients

Learning outcomes

At the end of the course the student is expected
to be able to:

  • understand acute illnesses mechanisms
  • examin of the patient
  • provide prehospital care to the patient at
    advanced level
  • understand the process of care and meet the
    patient

Disection / obduction 1sp

Anatomy, physiology and chemistry
Paramedic Science 1 and 2

The student must have passed Paramedic Science 1
and 2 before this course.
Part of the course will be studied together with
medical students.
