Competency aims

The aim of the course is for the student to
understand the concept of sustainable
development, a sustainable supply value chain and
the concept of circular economy, to be able to
foresee and analyze environmental consequences of
logistical decisions and have the tools to develop
the sustainability in the supply chain.

Learning outcomes

At the end of the course the student is expected
to understand the concept of sustainable business,
know a few meters to reduce the environmental
footprint, know international legislation and
institutions and understand how to develop
circular economy in the supply chain.

To pass the course the student should receive at
least 50 points of the maximum 100 points in the
course.
Examination 1: Written exam, maximum 40 points (at
least 20 points required)
Examination 2: Two personal/group essays, maximum
10 points per essay, total 20 points (at least 5
points per essay required)
Examination 3: Personal portfolio, maximum 40
points (at least 20 points required)
1-49 points equal to fail
50-59 points equal to 1
