Today business is global. This course will
provide the basics of
international business by giving a vocabulary and
a basic level of
knowledge and skills involved in international
business.
The course is based on an international text-
book in international
business that provides the necessary terminology,
theoretical
structures and practical cases needed to
independently analyze
and international business problems. .

The aims of the course are:
To give the students an understanding of the
unique aspects of
doing international business, its legal and
political environment.

To understand the role of international business
on national
economic development.

To understand factors influencing the inflow and
outflow of
international foreign direct investments.

To increase the awareness and understanding of
different
governmental and non-governmental bodies involved
in
international business.

To understand why companies internationalize

internationalization process.

To understand different foreign entry strategies
used by business.
To be aware of ethical issues in international
business.

To understand the effects of different cultures
on international

To understand global strategies and acquisitions

companies.
