The aim of the course is to develop an
understanding of various cultures, and learn how
cultures affect e.g. communication styles,
business environments and leadership styles.

The aim is also to develop basic understanding of
some of the main cultural theories, and to learn
to apply the theories in various intercultural
settings.

At the end of the course the student is expected
to:
-know how to appreciate different cultures and
cultural features
-understand how cultures influence business
-understand different cultural theories, and have
skills to apply the theories in various
intercultural settings
-be able to analyze his/her own culture
