Competency aims

The aim of the course is that the student learns more specific knowledge and clinical skills in the care of the critically ill patient.

Learning outcomes

At the end of the course the student is expected to
- have extensive knowledge of anatomy and physiology concerning circulation and breathing
- to be able to care for critically ill patients with different diagnosis
- understand ethical issues in caring for the critically ill patient

Basic studies have to been done.
