Learning outcomes
Students have knowledge of the most important tourism destinations and understand the competitiveness of destinations in Finland compared to other destinations. He/she can evaluate management skills displayed in the case of a successful destination. The student will be able to analyse companies by means of different methods and also consider the impact of future trends .
Course contents
Analysing different sectors and networks within tourism fields. Analysing tourism enterprises and entrepreneurship, future developments and the effects. The geography of the most important tourism destinations in the world.
