At the end of the course the student is expected to
be able to...Knowledge - what you know

You show language awareness and know how oral and written communication in different media for various purposes and target groups work.

You have insight into writing and public speaking as creative processes, which require preparatory work, revision, and practice.

You differentiate text genres, and you can apply different reading strategies for different texts, critically evaluate and assimilate information.

You identify the impact reading novels have on your language skills, and the ability to widen your views literature provides you.

Skills - what you can do

You are familiar with and can write work life related text for various situations and target groups.

You can use and evaluate sources critically, and you are able to write scientific papers.

You can participate and contribute to meetings and conversations, and you can give presentations.

You can analyze content and give and receive constructive feedback, both orally and in text.

Lectures given by teacher, seminars and groupwork. Written assignments, self-studies and learning outside the school environment.
