The aim of the course is that the student can use field equipment in professional manner.

Learning outcomes

At the end of the course the student knows what kind of equipment is needed for documentary and short film.

The student knows how to work with basic equipment. The routines on location become clear.

Course contents

Lessons, simulated recording on location, work as boom operator, sound recorder, sound designer, sound editor and re-recording mixer.

Guidance on location.

Feedback during the process and when films are finished.
