To understand the logistical supply chain in a company, how it works and why it is important

Learning outcomes

The emphasis is on demand management. The role of good demand managment for a functionally well working supply chain is demonstrated.

Distribution channels in Finland.
Forecastingmethods:
Polling of salesrepresentatives,time series,decompositing time series, seasonal indices, moving average, exponential smoothing, linear trend,exponential growth, econometric methods with simple and multiple regression,
