Competency aims

Students develop their ethical competence by:
- knowing and understanding the ethical principles
guiding the work of occupational therapists
- be aware of the core values of Occupational
Therapy
Students develop their competence within the field
of occupational therapy by:
- getting an understanding of the core concept of
activity in Occupational Therapy
- getting a fundamental understanding of the
profession's theoretical basis
- getting an understanding of the human from a
holistic perspective
Students develop their competence in means of the
Occupational therapy Process by:
- getting an understanding of the process that
guide the practice of the occupational therapist

Learning outcomes

The student is expected to:
- able to account for the occupational therapists
ethical principles concerning the relationship
between occupational therapist and client
-Have a basic understanding of how Occupational
therapy looks at the concept of humans, activity
and environment
- Know the profession's history and development
- Can describe the importance of activity for the
own well-being
- can name the various parts of the Occupational
Therapy Process and account for the core content
- be familiar with the occupational therapists
