Competency aims

The aim of the course is to gain an understanding
of the need of heating, heat production and
distribution.

Learning outcomes

At the end of the course the student is
expected to:
1.understand the need for heating in buildings
2.know and understand different way to produce
heat
3.understand in which ways heating changes the
indoor climate
4.knows laws and stipulations related to
heating
5.is able to compare different systems
6.is able to dimension and choose solutions
that are economically compatible
7.understands the function of district heating
