Knowledge of
- You have the knowledge of the fundamentals of creating and starting a podcast, understand requirements of/for hardware/software, podcasting platforms, and types of podcasts.
- You understand the importance of podcasting versus other types of media broadcasting and can create different types of content.
- You understand the potential of marketing and community building in connection with podcasting.

Skills
- You develop the skills to be able to plan, record, edit, and publish your podcast and in connection with, running, building, communicating with, and maintaining an online community.

Attitudes
- You realize your capacity to develop your storytelling skills by engaging in an unfamiliar media format.
- You understand the necessity to work with others to reach common goals.

Prerequisites and co-requisites

Introduction to Media Production (MK-2-113) or equivalent.
