To provide a basic knowledge of tourism and the travel industry.
To learn about Finnish tourism destinations and attractions.
To understand importance of sustainable tourism development.

Learning outcomes

Possess a general understanding of the tourism industry and basic tourism concepts.
Have knowledge of different kinds of tourism, transportation, hotel and restaurant businesses. Recognize organizations in the tourism industry.
Have knowledge of the most important tourism destinations and attractions in Finland.

During this course is one trip (two days) in Finland planned.

After the second re-exam takes material from it's learning away.

All assignments, exam and test of tourism geography in Finland passed. You can receive maximum 100 points of the course,you need minimum 50 point for a course grade
