Competency aims

The aim of the course is that the student:

? can present the project and the project's
possible results and the student's own role in
the project
? be able to provide feedback and comment on
the professional work of others
? be able to draw up a project plan
? can identify the project life cycle in the
project itself

Learning outcomes

At the end of the course the student is expected
to be able to:

? document and evaluate their work performance
in relation to theories in project management
and can identify current development needs in
project management
? can present the project and its results to
different types of stakeholders
? can identify their own and others' role in
teamwork

Course contents

Practically done work in a project, approx 320
hours. Students and examiner meet regularly during
practice, students present their projects to each
other at the end of the course. As part of
Vocational Internship 1, course participants will
also produce a seminar where the projects are
presented to other students / staff at Arcada and
external partners.

Prerequisites and co-requisites

The course in Project Management in the Cultural
and Creative Industry serves as a preparatory
course for Practical Training 1. The course
participant needs to have a project plan from
the course in Project Management and
Professional Practice 1 must contain a project.
