Competency aims

It is important for the Cultural manager to mediate the artist's
products.
In order to
successfully conduct the sales process it is important to know
the
market
and the target
groups.

During this course you will learn how to conduct market
research,
and
how to use available statistics and research

Learning outcomes

At the end of the course the student is expected to be able to

* identify target and customer groups for different projects.
* knows segmentation and is able to identify niches in the
creative
industry
* is able to effectively market an artist or group of artists
* masters the basics of marketing and communication in a
cultural
production
perspective

Course contents

During the course you will make a definition of a customer group
and make a quantitative market research
