Competency aims

The aim of the course is to learn how to use and select the basic components needed for Production Automation and how to solve problems with a ready system.

Learning outcomes

At the end of the course the student is expected to be able to:
- Use suitable mechanical systems and conveyers
- Use and program industrial robots
- Calculate the required motor size
- Program PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers)
- Solve problems with sensors and PLC systems
