Competency aims

The aim of the course is to give an overview of
the main principles in marketing in a travel
and tourism context. Current trends in digital
marketing are also covered.

Learning outcomes

At the end of the course the student is
expected
to be able to

  • explain the special characteristics of

  • understand the marketing mix in travel and
    tourism
  • analyze options for digital marketing
  • review and discuss the role of social media
    in marketing
  • explore the impacts of the sharing economy
