Additional information
Master program Leadership for Nordic Healthcare
is entirely online, and therefore all study
activities consist of online activities only.
Each study unit requires active commitment each
week,as peer-learning and self-driven learning
activities are the foundation for deep learning.
Students receive regularly ?triggers? (complex
questions), guidance and resourceful lectures
as a pedagogical framework. The ?triggers? are
real-life connected and Nordic in their design and
the resourceful lectures are a blend between
theoretical discussions and Nordic guest lectures.
During all learning activities in this master
program there will be a continuous focus on
social, teaching and cognitive presence.
Furthermore, building a sense of community
among learners is essential for developing common
purposes and inquiry in each learning unit. The
purpose of highlighting the learning community
in this master education rely on the assumption
that in order to create the conditions for inquire
and qualitative interactions (reflective and
threaded discussions) there needs to be a
collaboratively starting point.

All students are required to participate in the
online conference 14.2.2023 (9:00-16:00)
Possibilities for future Nordic Health and welfare
seminar arranged by Arcada and Novia and open to a
global research community.
Everyone is asked to be active during the whole
conference and each student will individually
present a short paper including problem statement,
research on topic, prototype for solution and
evaluation
The grade will be built on the following elements:
Abstract (30% of final grade) Poster or oral
presentation (10%, approved/failed) Article for
conference (60 % of final grade)
