The aim of the course is that the student is
able to:
Foster an understanding of research methodology
and describe different research designs used in
healthcare research. (Knowledge)
Compare and discuss research and projects in
the Nordic healthcare sector in order to
understand how
alternative scenarios are built for the future.

different Nordic healthcare and research

Learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student is
expected to:
1.Demonstrate knowledge of research process
2.Select, compare and contrast different
ongoing research and projects in the Nordic
healthcare sector
3.Show the ability to critically read research
literature and project reports and turn these into
own creative research ideas.
4.Contribute to exploratory and reflective
discussions that enhance both the own as well as
others learning.
Prerequisites and co-requisites
A bachelor degree and at least two years work
experience gained after completing the higher
education degree

Assessment requirements
To pass the course the student should pass the
following examinations:
Examination 1 will examine learning outcomes 1
and 2 and is an individually written exam. It
contributes to 30% of your course grade
Examination 2 is a group assignment and
examines learning outcomes 2,3 and 4. It
contributes to 70% of your course grade.
