The aim of the course is that:
- the student has basic knowledge for a caring
scientific thinking and an evidence based
practice
- the student gets the aim towards the caring
scientific area of knowledge and makes the the
value base visible
- the student makes ethical reflections about
caring.
- the student gets knowledge about
caring-/nursing theories
- the student manages a basic scientific
language
in speech an writing

Learning outcomes

At the end of the course the student is
expected
to be able to:
- apply the basis for evidensbased care in
diffrent caring/nursing contexts
- understand the theory core and be able to
argue
for its importance in caring/nursing
- undestand and apply principles and values
from
professional ethics as a base for safe and
secure
patient care.
- understand the importance of theories and
models as a base for caring/nursing
- understand and use a scientific language.
