In this study unit the focus lies on the following

Learning outcomes
Knowledge level:
You can define health psychology and sports psychology as fields of knowledge
and knows the theories and subject areas of both subjects.
You can analyze and reflect on various health psychology concepts, theories and its usefulness in the behavior change process. You have basic knowledge of positive psychology, as well as its relation to health work and behavior change.
You can analyze and reflect on various sports psychology concepts and
the theories and their applicability in sports and competitive sports.
You can explain different health behaviors and risk behaviors such as stress, sleep, physical activity/inactivity and eating behaviour. You understand how mental well-being provides overall success in sports/competitive sports.
Skill Level:
You can plan and carry out a case study, which has a health-promoting purpose and use theories from health and sports psychology. You can plan, implement and evaluate various mental exercises that support the individual's well-being based on the individual's/customer's needs.
Approach:
You understand your ethical responsibilities and are aware of what falls within your area of expertise.
