Competency aims

Student is able to use ethical code in midwifery. She knows what is the best for woman, mother and child in different situations. Student develops and follows her ethical thinking when taking care of her patients.

Learning outcomes

The student can reflect on and follow the ethical questions in midwifery.
The student develops in her professional capacity as a midwife.
The student follows the international ethical code in midwifery.

Course contents

The student can identify her reflection in ethical conflict situations. She follows the ethical codes and the law regulating the practice of midwifery as a profession.
