Competency aims

The student deepens his/her understanding of technological opportunities and challenges in sports.

The student understands the importance of different components (nutrition, mental and physical training, coaching, recovery, etc.) in sports performance.

The student realizes ethical principles and is able to act according to those principles

Learning outcomes

Students are able to identify existing technological innovations, and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team, are able to design, implement and evaluate innovations.

Students learn to work in an innovative multi-professional team, in an evidence-based way.

Course contents

The "framework" for the course in technology, ethics and sustainable development.

Additional information

Intro is during week 35 at 10-11.30am. After that the lectures are running every Friday 8.30-11.30am.

Recommended or required reading

Student is responsible to find a reliable articles and evidencebased material concerning the case he/she chooses.
